• BikingLasVegas.com: Thursday NIGHT Menchie's Frozen Yogurt Ride

  This is our NEW THURSDAY NIGHT RIDE! Starts and ends at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt at 5651 S. Grand Canyon (NW corner of Russell and Grand Canyon). UPDATED 7/11/12:
  We will have THREE pace groups from now on. 12-14mph led out by Mike Clark; 14-16mph led out by me; 17mph+ led out by whoever wants to lead it.
  
  Here's the new timing schedule:
  17mph+ group will leave the parking lot first at 7:30pm sharp!
  14-16mph group will leave second at 7:35pm
  12-14mph group will leave third at 7:40pm
  
  This should help all groups maximize the FUN and still be able to socialize and hang out together at the end.

• Team 04:50 Thursday Road Ride

  Team 04:50 is a group of non-competitive riders (well, some are more competitive in their own minds than others) who are crazy enough to ride at 4:50 a.m. Monday through Friday year round. We meet at the northwest corner of Buffalo and Cheyenne. Unless the weather is really bad, there is always someone there. Group numbers range from 3 to 15 depending on the time of year and the weather. We usually ride an hour and a half to two hours - people turn off or back whenever they need to to get to work. We ride through Summerlin or through Centenial Hills. It is hard to say the average speed but it probably ranges in the 15-16 mph. BUT, no one gets dropped permanently. I say permanently as we have different established routes and the stronger riders often go ahead and circle back to pick up the not so strong riders at some point. All levels are welcome.
