Ride Classification: Challenge: LOTS OF CLIMBING!
TWO PACE GROUPS:
Group 1 - 16mph - 18mph chase ride with possibility of getting dropped (hey, I'm not in that group!) ;)
Group 2 - 14mph - 16mph - no drop, ride in a group, more social than racing.
Distance: Approximately 30 miles
IMPORTANT: There are no designated rest stops on this ride; however there are re-grouping points (see details below) and there are a couple convenience stores on route if you need to stop to get ice/water. Helmets are required. Bring your FRONT headlight and REAR taillight.
START LOCATION:
Albertson's Parking Lot
Corner of Flamingo and Hualapai
(If you are coming from the 215W, exit Flamingo and make a left. The Albertson's will be on the right.)

- Team 04:50 Tuesday Road Ride

Team 04:50 is a group of non-competitive riders (well, some are more competitive in their own minds than others) who are crazy enough to ride at 4:50 a.m. Monday through Friday year round. We meet at the northwest corner of Buffalo and Cheyenne. Unless the weather is really bad, there is always someone there. Group numbers range from 3 to 15 depending on the time of year and the weather. We usually ride an hour and a half to two hours - people turn off or back whenever they need to to get to work. We ride through Summerlin or through Centenial Hills. It is hard to say the average speed but it probably ranges in the 15-16 mph. BUT, no one gets dropped permanently. I say permanently as we have different established routes and the stronger riders often go ahead and circle back to pick up the not so strong riders at some point. All levels are welcome.
